Mary Salada

I first met my husband's Aunt Mary in 1959. She was a positive role model for me in my early years of marriage - a devoted wife and mother, in addition, a hard-working farmer - at one time telling us she was outside working on the tractor and couldn't get to the phone. Aunt Mary was, by far, the best cook I had met up to that time. One time while talking about her mushroom soup she said, "don't be afraid of it, try it."
