Mary Catherine Scanlon

To the Scanlon family,
I have many fond memories of Catherine (Mrs. Scanlon). She was such a wonderful friend to my grandmother (Verna Murphy). With St. Patrick's Day coming up I am reminded of one year at the family reunion at Vets Memorial, she and grandma sitting at a table in the corner, holding court -- so many people stopping by to say hello and toast the day. My sisters and I all agreed we wanted to "grow up and be just like them some day."
