Not sure what to say?

I can just see Sr. walking down the halls of Prompt Succor with her blue jacket on her arm. I usually got a little French lesson from her almost daily. She will be missed!

Praying for the repose of her soul, but have little doubt that Sister is resting with our Lord. Will miss seeing her face when I visit my mom at Prompt Succor.

sr. philip was one of the first residents i got to meet when going to work at our lady of prompt succor nursing home.she was welcoming, friendly, and warm. she would come to my office, visit and talk about her days of teaching, especially loved to talk about her trips to france with students. she is missed by many of the staff!!!

Will miss my dear friend, here at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Nursing Home!

Sr. Mary Philip taught our class French at St. Francis de Sales HS in the early 60's. We sang Christmas carols in French on the local radio station. She was a very energetic, caring, dedicated, smart lady. I will pray to her for I am sure she is in Heaven!

My fondest memories , living at Malta Court, now Holy Angels, are of taking Sr. Mary Philip & Sr. Marcela on road trips.
I drove them and usually another sister in my "Nun Mobile" as it was called.
We went to Oak Alley festival, Battle of New Orleans festival, a visit to Sr. Mary Philip's brother place in Opelousas, where we picked pears. Lots of fun, great memories. I miss her & Sr. Marcela very much!! "Those were the days, my friend."

goddesses bless the msc's.i taught religion at archbishop blenk in 1970.

i remember the kind and capable sr.mary philip and all of the marianites.

My sincere sympathy to the family for your loss. I have fond memories of Sr. Phillip from my high school years. She taught my classmates and I french and sewing at St Edmund in Eunice in the late 70's. May she rest in peace. (member class of 79)
