Not sure what to say?

I feel privileged to have known Sr. Rosita for the past 20 years in Grand Rapids. Her drive and commitment through her work at St. Mary's was an example of her compassion and mercy towards those in our community. She was someone that I admired and looked to in terms of how to stay involved even as we age. She spoke with love of her family and her relationships with them. She will be missed in our community, and I am a better person for having known her. Thank-you, Sister.

Dr. Schiller was one of my professors and the Director of the Medical Dietetics program when I was completing my degree at The Ohio State University from 1993-1995. I am grateful for all she taught me about dietetics, especially leadership and management. My heartfelt prayers and condolences to her family.

Rosita was the director of my medical dietetics program at Ohio State 1985-1987. She was a mentor to me and such an influence on the beginning of my career as a dietitian. I continue to work in the field at Duke University and am wrapping up my service and hope to retire in a few years. She modeled and insisted on an excellence in that program that I have carried through my career. I feel honored to have known her!

Sending condolences to the family of Sr. Rosita and keeping you in our prayers.

I was so sorry to hear of Sr. Rosita's death. We met 16 years ago where we both volunteered for funeral luncheons at the cathedral. When Sr. Rosita told me her given name was Margaret Anne (as mine is), and I told her my aunt (Margaret), Sr. Rose, was a Dominican nun, she took a special spot in my heart. Whatever titles she held or accolades she earned, Sr. Rosita was down to earth and kind to everyone. When she delivered her signature baked beans or ambrosia salad for the funeral luncheons,...

Sister Rosita was an awesome woman. She achieved more in her life than we could ever imagine. God had a great soldier in Sister ( Doctor) Rosita)
