Mary "Betty" Schmitz

My contact with Mrs. Schmitz was Ann and my Sister, Patrica were such close friends. Years now later, when I would bump into her around Escalon, she always smiled with recognition and remembered MY name. Wonderful Lady

Mel and family , I am sadden to hear about Betty. I talked to my Mom ( Virgie Schmitz Baptista ) today and she informed me about Betty's passing. She was a sweet, loving lady and will be missed deeply. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. God Bless.

When I married my husband Bill and moved to Escalon Betty was the first friend I had. She became a lifeline of hope and joy for me. She cared about every little thing in my life and a font of guidance in faith. Just seeing her smile made me happy. I will forever miss her but thankfully I know she is with our Lord Jesus, happy and healthy.
