Not sure what to say?

I still think of Mary Lu and Bob as the model of a lively, thoughtful partnership. Her family will surely carry on those fine qualities. Love to all of them.

I just found out that Mary Lu died on July 4. I send my sincerest thoughts to her children, Georgia, Hugh, Caroline and Peter and all of the grandchildren. I met ML when at Stone school in the third grade. She was always so "liberated" we thought, as she flew to and from school and one of the only ones who didnt have to wear leggings (snowpants) in the winter. We were in MYF at Ames Methodist church, and I followed her to Asbury ( one year for me), and had visited with her in Berkeley,...

To Dr. Mary Lu Schreiber's family. I met Dr. Schreiber at RCEB 15 years ago. I was privileged to be able to schedule her appointments for her weekly consultations with RCEB consumers. Every word used to describe her are the words in my heart. I think of her everyday and I have many wonderful memories. All my love to her family. Always, Judy Ann Steinmiller Concord California

Mary Lu and I often sat next to each other in San Francisco symphony rehearsals. She was always cheer, fun, and witty. The heaven choirs now have a great alto.

Mary Lu and I often sat next to each other in Oakland Symphony Chorus rehearsals, both enjoying the singing and our small talks. I loved her love of music, especially the Brahms Requiem, her vitality, her love, and her humor. Sometime during those years Bob threw a surprise birthday party for Mary Lu, and a mob showed up at the front door at supper time to honor her. Though completely surprised, sometime during the evening she went upstairs and when she returned, was dressed fashionably for...

Mary Lu joined the SF Symphony chorus near to my entry. Her joy and enthusiasm in portraying the music we sang was infectious. She loved her family and always remembered our children. She was the life of any social occasion. She will be deeply missed.

A woman who contributed so much and affected the lives of many.

Doc Schreiber's love of life, sense of humor, "style", and ability to bring people together will be sorely missed by all of us. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

This world would be a better place if we were all loved so passionately, known so well, and portrayed so perfectly. An amazing woman and family, as evidenced here.
