Mary Beatty Schumacher

Mary and I were fast friends when we met at Bower Hill Community Church , where her family attended for years. We shared many wonderful experiences together through the church youth group. I still have some pictures of sleepovers at each others' houses and church retreats. My heart is very saddened to hear of Mary's passing . I will pray for peace and healing for your family. Sad to hear this. Grew up with Mary at Bower Hill Community Church in Mount Lebanon. By grew up I mean we were friends from starting in 3rd grade in the Chorister choir up through High school graduation. Mary was always a happy smiling person. I did not know she became a kindergarten teacher but I can see that suited her personality. She will be missed

I have known Mary since Kindergarten. We had a lot of fun times while growing up. I got to see her marry the love of her life and to see her become a wonderful mother. She was a shining light and a great friend. I will miss her terribly.

I had the privilege to be a colleague and friend of Mary's at Brunswick Elementary. She was a gifted teacher and great person. Mary always shared that beautiful contagious smile, and her loving heart shone through every day. She was a treasure.

Mary will always hold a special place in my heart. She was such a wonderful person, so vivacious and full of energy, just what young students need in a teacher. Alex and family, please know that Mary will be missed by me and so many others. She was one of a kind for sure.

Mary was an amazing kindergarten teacher. She taught both of my daughter´s, Taylor Kime and Savannah Hamrick. They absolutely loved her. Thank you for teaching them and guiding them to successful hugh school graduation. RIP Mrs. Schumacher
