Elaine Trimm in 1944 at age 19, Birmingham, Alabama

I wanted to include a picture of mother, Elaine Trimm. I thought JQ or Edna Marie might remember her.
The other picture is of my husband, Byron, me and our two children, Ginger and Adam.

To Mary Lou's family,
I am very sorry for your loss. I didn't know her personally, but it sounds like she was a very beloved lady.
My mother, Elaine Trimm's father, Amasar, was a brother to Uncle Joel. She was a first cousin to Mary Lou and all her sisters and brothers. I didn't know any of you personally, but I did meet Homer (HL) one time when we went to TX to visit Cecil and Oliver Trimm (Elaine's family).(I thought it was unusual that HL's mother was an Estes and married a...

Sherry, I always loved being at your home as a little girl. Mary Lou always had a smile and a hug for me. I have such sweet memories of your family. A very special lady that will definitely be missed.

Heaven just got an Angel! Words can not describe my Aunt Mary Lou. Such a beautiful person with such a warm heart. In my heart she will always be. I would smile when my Dad would tell me I reminded him of my Aunt Mary Lou. She would always tell me I look like her. What a compliemnt to me! The truth is I do take after my sweet Aunt. It's a toss up on who can talk the most :) When my friends say "Marla you sure do talk a lot", I reply "Oh you haven't met my Aunt Mary Lou yet!" Aunt Mary Lou,...

Mary Lou, a beautiful lady always with a sweet smile and a friendly wave whenever you see her. She will be missed. Your neighbors-the Hogans.

Tommy,
When I think back on elementary and high school memories - there are a few of our parents that made a very positive impression on me...Mrs. Smith was one of those few because of her beautiful smile and always cheerful greeting & hug everytime I was blessed to see her. After reading special Bible verses and a new favorite book, "Heaven is for Real", I know God has her with Him. God bless you and yours, Tommy.

Mama Trimm and Mary Lou

Mom and Dad used to take us to visit Uncle Roy and Aunt Mary Lou's house when we visited family in Alabama. Mary Lou was always sweet to us and I will always cherish her life and my memories of good times shared. The photo attached is a picture my Dad (James E. Trimm) kept with him while he was in the Navy. She and Mama Trimm always wrote him which helped keep him from being lonely during this time of his life. I recently restored it for all to enjoy. Love you Aunt Mary Lou. Larry

What a testimony to Mary Lou's heart and life to read these entries. Our deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Tommy and Kim and family - we wish we were closer, especially in times like this. Sending thoughts and prayers to you and yours.

Aunt Mary Lou, I will miss you very much. You had the world's best smile and laugh. I will remember it always. It was just a joy being around you and I will forever hold those memories in my heart.

My condolences to the family. I wish I could be there this week to provide support, but to also celebrate Aunt Mary Lou's wonderful life. I love you all.
