Not sure what to say?

Mary was a member of our Coloosa Reading Club in Fort Myers. She was very much liked and admired. Her reading choices were vast and impressionable. She always contributed to the discussions in a positive and beneficial way. She was loved, she was appreciated and she will be missed terribly ! I am so happy that I was able to meet her at our luncheon in Naples the last time she was here. Claire Stitt

I am very sad she is gone , there is a great void for me. Tucky is going to be OK as I promised my Aunt Mary Ann, he is with me.

Mary Ann was a member of Caloosa Readers book club in Fort Myers, Florida. She was such a wonderful addition to our discussions and I was sorry see her move North but happy she would be nearer her family. She always made such thoughtful comments about the books we read and she was a joy to be around. I am so sorry that she had been sick and that she has now passed. She was well loved here and I shall miss her. She gave me a little cat shaped cream pitcher that I treasure and think of her...

Mary Ann was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta at Cornell, as was I, and we were roommates our senior year, with Sally Alspach Anderson. Sometimes by myself, sometimes the three "roomies", and sometimes other Cornell friends would gather at the Harrisburg condo for wonderful summer reunions. Those gatherings turned into tours of interesting places around the area, and over the years Mary Ann showed us wonderful places around Harisburg and led us to a number of historic towns in the...

I met MaryAnn when I started working at the Lee Memorial Medical Library in Fort Myers. We often talked about our animals. I especially enjoyed the ones about her and her cat. She even wrote a short story for our newsletter about her trip to Harrisburg with the cat one winter. I was saddened when she told me she was moving back north. I really missed her when she left.

I only knew Mary Ann a short time, but she was a lovely lady. She helped out with the Koala kids and also with the bell choir at church during our time of need. She will definitely be missed.

Please accept my and all library staff's deepest sympathy for the loss of such a special person. Mary Ann used to volunteer in the Medical Library in the Lee Memorial Health System, Fort Myers, FL and was very well liked by all who knew her. She will always stay in my memory as a lovely, pettite but feisty and adventureous lady with a big smile and very blue eyes in her face. We often talked about her travels, and I admired her spirit and independence. Another common interest we shared...

Mary Ann and I worked together in Middletown, CT for many years on Weekly Reader. My husband and I visited Mary Ann and Andrew in FL several times, and she visited me after she moved back to Harrisburg. She was a kind, loving person and a dear friend. I will miss her.
