I was so sorry to hear about Mary Alice. She was truly a nice person and a great kindergarten teacher. I always enjoyed our trivia sessions at the legion. whenever an Ohio State question came up she would yell: Who Cares!. She will be missed.

We losted a great soul, Mary Alice was always there to party on with us. She also had, a good story to tell. She loved all her family, her students and her friends. She was an asset to our Red Hat Club. We will miss her dearly.

Dear Monica and family, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's death. My name is June Oaks, my mother, Dorothy Hertenstein, was a good friend with your mom and taught first grade at NB. Your mother was a wonderful lady, I enjoyed seeing her at social functions. I live in Florida now, so I am unable to come to your mother's services on Saturday. You have my deepest sympathy. Sincerely, June Oaks

Mindy, Monica and Kevin,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Your dear Mom was "M.A." to me. That's what my Mom called her since they became friends in grade school. I'm so glad that she was a part of my life. I'll miss her laughter and sense of humor. She came up with the name of our ladies bowing team in Lima - The Bowling Bags! I remember us all laughing until we had tears rolling down our cheeks at that one! I'll miss you so, M.A. Give Mom a hug for me, I'm sure she is waiting...

Mrs. Settlage was my kindergarten teacher. I remember the birthday celebrations in her class. She would draw a beautiful cake in many different colors on the black board. When she was finished, we would sing happy birthday to the special person. Mrs. Settlage taught me and my daughters in kindergarten. She was very faithful to her students. The class of 69 was honored having her presence at our 45th class reunion. She was a very caring person and very faithful to her students for a life...
