Not sure what to say?

Dear Bob and family,

I remember Jan so fondly from the Shangraw cousins reunion in Vermont. She really made it all happen for us. What a wonderful woman! She was such a ray of sunshine.

Dear Mr. Shangraw & Family,
Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your wife/mother. Mrs. Shangraw was a very involved parent. I enjoyed being in her girl scout troup. She was a very good role model and leader. I have fond memories of being your neighbor from so many years ago. Please take care of yourselves during this difficult time.

Dear Bob, Kathy and family ,
I was so sad to hear about Jan's sudden passing. She always made me feel welcome years ago when I would join you holidays or spent a day in Otis with Kathi and the boys. You are in my thoughts. Hold your memories close to your heart and she will always be with you

To Bob and family, we are saddened to learn of Jan's death. She exemplified what a real nurse is in her work. I remember the good times we had camping at Yankee Trails Girl Scout Camp. She was an incredible leader and spread her love of scouting to her troop. May the love of your friends and family help you through your grief.

We are friends of Mike and Barbara Shangraw and are grieving with them at the loss of their mother, Jan. May she rest in peace and memories of her live forever.
Emmet and Toni Stephenson, Boulder City, NV

On behalf of Principal/Chief Administrator Margaret Williamson and the entire Northwest Catholic High School community, I offer my deepest sympathy on Mrs. Shangraw's passing. Because her children -- Robert Shangraw ’72, Timothy Shangraw ’73, Michael Shangraw ’76, Vicki Shangraw Kveder, MD ’77, and Kathi Shangraw Cotugno '81 -- are cherished members of our school family, we feel their mom was, too, and we grieve her death along with all of them. Please know that we will keep Mrs. Shangraw and...

To my dear friend Vicki and all the Shangraw family,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I remember her patience and kindness when all the East Granby kids invaded her home & yard to play, swim and hang out together. She was instrumental in providing a happy childhood to many.
With love,

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Dear Shangraw family, I had the pleasure of working with Jan at Hartford Hospital, Radiology. She was a skilled, empathetic and dedicated nurse. A very proud Mom, wife and Grandmother. I am very saddened by her passing and will cherish memories of her quiet and loving heart.
May happy memories sustain you,
