Mrs. Shone exemplified such grace and kindness in all she did. My son had her as a teacher, and she was one of his greatest teachers who taught him academically but also taught him kindess and patience. As our neighbor, she was always such a pleasure to speak with and her smile was a permanent fixture on our street. Kerri - Words cannot express how sorry I feel for the loss of your Mom. She was a beautiful woman and the epitome of kindness. Mrs. Shone taught both of my children in third grade and was absolutely the kindest most caring
teacher they ever had - loved by both the students and their mothers. I truly sorry to hear that she has passed on - we know that she is on the staight path to heaven.

Mrs Shone was my teacher in 1986 and in the yrs since we would run into each other quite a bit. She always gave me a big hug accompanied by had that big smile and calming voice. Not many people would remember their 3rd grade teacher but all of St Marys remembered Mrs Shone. Not only was she a great teacher...she was a wonderful person and will be deeply missed by all.
