Not sure what to say?

She was the kind of person femme fatales were based upon. Such a rare breed of passionate with a fervor of actualization. My Grandmother loved people and did everything she could to broaden her horizons of knowledge and pass that to others. Community was so important to her, she cultivated activities to keep everyone involved and talking to each other. The world has lost another rare and great woman who painted the world with her words and love of others. I hope her brave heart never truly...

Mary Jane, my dear friend, you were even more brilliant than I had known. I'm so glad you came into my life. More recently, I will miss our phone calls, talking with you about everything from the state of our government to pop culture. I will always remember my wonderful times with you. Love and peace be with you, June

She was a wonderful woman and I truly wish I had known her!!

I met Mary Jane as a friend of Carol Crane, and we both mourned her loss as long as Mary Jane lived. Now it's time for them to be together again wherever radical thinkers go after life. She brought a joy to life from unexpected angles and will be missed for her brilliance, creativity and gleeful provocation.

Oh, my, Miss Mary Jane, I will miss you! I have fond childhood memories of visiting your home, making gingerbread houses adorned with ribbon candy; and then I got to know you again in my adulthood. Condolences to all of the family. -Katie

Mary Jane was a force of nature, an original thinker, a challenging teacher, and fine friend. She was sensitive, and funny... and she could remember every song she ever knew. I'm grateful for 55 years of friendship.

During our brief encounters with Mary Jane, her wizened intellect quickly became apparent to me. Cordial interchange with her was often brief and yet oddly complete. Her inviting smile and telepathic eyes often spoke volumes while her carefully chosen words rendered their supporting aethereal echo. My condolences to the Shoultz family. Bianca,, may your grandmother´s l'esprit académique continue to flow peacefully within you.
