Not sure what to say?

To the Srs. of St. Joseph and the Sidebottom Family,
Sr. Frances and I started teaching at St. Peter's in Worcester, MA. I always remember that I was to have the Fourth-Fifth grade and she was assigned to teach First grade. Our Superior, Sr. Charlres Borremeo, took one look at me, (height 5' tall) and one look at Frances (around 5'8") and immediately switched us. I think I got the better part of the deal as she had to handle two grades. So we were the tall and short of it. We spent...

Sr. Frances was one of my favorites also. She was always so patient, friendly and kind. Remember "Perfect Practice Makes Perfect". I attribute my success to her. Thank you Sister Frances!

Sr. Frances you were a great teacher and I will never forget that it was you who taught me to type and I love telling the stories of typing class at St. Mikes and those manual typewriters. You will be missed. Lori Landry McCusker, St. Mikes class of 1975

Yes, Sister Frances was a great teacher, she had a lot of humor and made learning alot of fun. Take care Sister Frances. The students of St. Michaels will miss you. Maryanne Carey (Easthampton Massachusetts

Sister Frances, you were and always will be my favorite teacher! You taught me how to type and to this day I credit you for being the patient, kind and forgiving teacher that you always were! You gave us fond memories of you! You made good people out of us!! We'll see you on the other side! Thank-you for putting up with us at St. Mike's!

My favorite Sister Frances Sidebottom quip "Practice doesn't make perfect, PERFECT practice makes perfect." She was one of my favorite teachers at St. Michael's in Northampton. Almost daily I use many of the skills she taught me. 35 years later she still has an impact on my life. I was so happy that I had the opportunity to thank her about 10 years ago when I saw her at Mt. Marie. Peace be with you Sister.

Sr. Frances was one of my favorite teachers. She taught with great wit and humor. Life's lessons too! One of my favorite quips "Practice doesn't make perfect. PERFECT practice makes perfect." Thirty-five years later I use skills daily that she taught me. Peace be with you Sister! Shauneen O'Donnell Kocot, St. Michael's High School, class of '76
