PROFESSOR MARY COLETTE SMITH

I was blessed to have had Mary as one of my nursing professors at CUA when I was a nursing student there in 1965-1969 and many years later wrote an editorial in CRITICAL CARE NURSE journal that recognized and thanked her for being so wonderful. I lost track of her after she left Mississippi and did not know about her illness. My heart is deeply saddened to learn that she died. She was the epitome of a great nurse and dear friend.
