Not sure what to say?

Maryann was my first girlfriend and I had a lot of interaction with "Mrs Smith". I visited Middle Bass island with the family and she treated me like one of her own sons. I remember her laugh and the warmth and kindness that she showed me. She made me grow as a young man and she had a very positive influence on my life. Rest in peace Mary.

I used to work at Horizon Activity Center back in the late eighties. What a kind and generous person. She had a passion for children and it showed in her work. She will be missed.

We were very sad to hear of the passing of our dear friend Mary.
All though we were only in Florida for 3 months a year, to know this lovely lady was a real pleasure. Our condolences to her children, grand children & families within her charitable work.
Rest in Peace

Sending prayers, love and hugs- Mary was a wonderful person , giving generously of her time and self to others. Thinking sweet thoughts of our early years of friendship in the ‘70s....and i thank her precious family as well as God for sharing her with me. Blessings and prayers for peace and healing for her wonderful family. Love MaryAnn Manley

Enjoyed having Mary as a close North Olmsted neighbor. Our children enjoyed playing with hers. My youngest girls, Bonnie, Peggy & Jane were some of the first group of children enjoying Horizon, which Mary started. She is going to be missed. May the Lord comfort her dear children as only the Lord Jesus can.

Mrs. Smith was loved by so many!! She was the mother of my childhood friend MaryAnn, and me and some of my sisters spent many days at her house as it was just down the street. She was always so kind, loving and welcoming. She was also my Girl Scout leader. I believe that me and some of my sibling were part of the original group when she started Horizons. I came from a very large family and Horizons opened up different experiences for me (I got to take tumbling/Gymnatics! Such a dream!!!). I...

Bubby was nothing but sweet and wonderful every time I had the pleasure of being around her. You could get lost in time while conversing with her. We will all miss you bubby.

As a youth growing up next door to the Smiths, I was well aware of Mary’s impact to our community and will always remember her as a role model for servant leadership.

Mary was a wonderful, caring friend and neighbor. I will never forget her.
