Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy for your loss. Mary was a wonderful person who always gave of herself. I am honored to have known her. She will be missed by many.

Mary was a true blessing to so many students during her years at Father Gabriel Richard High School. Heaven has certainly gained an angel. I remember Mary so often walking next door to the St. Thomas rectory where she would prepare incredible meals for the priests assigned to the parish. Her time and talents were always appreciated.

I met Mary 30 years ago at Gabriel Richard HS. Mary was a most kind, loving lady and always had a smile on her face regardless of the circumstances surrounding her. She was always giving especially in her quilting and sewing projects. She will be missed and I am richer for having her as a friend of 30 years.

Sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers be with you and yours of the Sougstad family and friends. On behalf of entire membership and auxiliary of Graf-O'Hara VFW Post 423. Commander Horace Frazier Jr.

John, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Mary organized a project to knit helmet linners and scarves for troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. VFW Post 423 send hundreds and hundreds of these to the troops. Thank you Mary for all you did for these troops far away from home. We received alot of notes thanking the ladies for the linner and scarves, they were some thing special from home. God bless you for all you did. VFW Post 423

Mary was such a shining angel here at Pittsfield Senior Center. Her leadership of the quilt group who donated so many quilts, baby hats, helmet liners, holiday baskets, and love in every stich, will never be forgotten. God has a new star in heaven. Dan, our prayers for you and your family.
