Mary Jean Sova

Jean Sova was a force of nature! I only knew her as the Mom of my very best friend since before kindergarten, Jan Marie Sova (whom I have not seen since 1983 in Chicago). I was in awe of Jean SO MANY KIDS! And she managed to feed and clothe them all without missing a beat. She was widowed far too early in life, but carried on with the same stoicism that had gotten her that far. Even as a small child I was impressed that her adult daughter, Mona Jean, moved her young family to be 1/2 mile...

Your mom was a strong and amazing woman and she raised a loving and supportive family in all of you. Even though we know death is expected, the loss of a parent is hard to prepare for and our hearts go out to all of you.
