Mary Spangler

Mary was a dear friend and a fabulous neighbor. My other neighbor, Tamera, and I regularly reminisce about her loving and fun spirit, and the many delightful hours we spent working in all of our gardens with her. She frequently wore us out!! She used to ask to borrow my 2 story ladder to clean her gutters, and would fuss when I refused and volunteered to do hers. She'd always then volunteer to do mine! I have many fond memories of Mary, dating back to 1956, when I first became a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Maumee. My mother, Alice Spaulding, considered Mary a dear friend. She was an angel on earth. She will be missed!!

Dear Spangler family,
My sincere apologies for not being able to come and pay my respects to all. Mrs. Spangler was probably one of the most beloved people on this planet, loved and respected by so many people. I have very special memories of her that I will forever hold dear and such a special woman to all the Huffmans!! I became friends with Mary through my late husband, Ted Young, whom Mary was very good friends with his Mom. My prayers are with the family, and I am so glad I was able to spend time with Mary - she was a very wise lady.
