Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful teacher and friend Mary Jo was. When my daughter, Salem, was in her class at Moore School, my best friend was diagnosed with cancer and subsequently died. Salem faced the unknown, the death of a family friend, and then my friend's daughter moving in our home - giving Salem an older sibbling when she was used to being the oldest daughter. Mary Jo not only tended Salem's heart daily, but she visited my friend in the hospital to better understand our family's changing...

I have many fond memories of this real lady I have known since beginning teaching at Moore in 1987. God's peace to the family who cherishes their fond memories of Mary Jo.

"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves memories no one can steal." Please accept my condolences for the loss of Mary Jo. She and I taught 2nd grade together when I first started teaching. She was always willing to help me and always had such a kind and living spirit. My heart goes out to you during your time of sorrow.

Remembering Mrs. Spaugh...Several years ago when I first started working at Moore School, I met Mrs. Spaugh and had the pleasure of working with her. Mrs. Spaugh was such an excellent teacher and treated her students with kindness and respect. She touched my life and the impact she had on students will be felt for many years. For her family, please accept my sympathy at the passing of this fine lady.

To The Spaugh Family,
Our family would like to express our sadness at the loss of Mrs. Spaugh. She was my son's teacher at Moore. He is now 25 years old. Mrs. Spaugh was an excellent teacher and was always wonderful about making the parents feel just as special as the students. I appreciated the time and care she gave to all of the students and parents at Moore, especially our family. We will have special memories of her.
With fondness,
Valerie, Gregory, and Geoffrey George

Dear Arthur and Family,

Please accept my sincere sorrow in the passing of Mary Jo. She was a wonderful person and teacher. She took on any job willingly and always offered to help in all school endeavors.
It was a joy for me to have the experience of working with her for a number of years. She was a love and joy to all at Moorel.

I am practically house bound except when someone takes me to my doctor appointments. Were it not for that I would surely attend the...

I offer my condolences to Mary's family at this their time of loss. During my high school years I always thought of Mary Jo as a beautiful person in every respect. I and the rest of her classmates will miss her beautiful presence at the next reunion of the Central High School, Class of '55. May God comfort the family and friend at this their time of great loss.

Arthur Spaugh and Family,
My deepest sympathy in your loss. All at the Church have been praying for Mary Jo and it was my deep pleasure to have known her these many years. God Bless You. Gene Price and Stephanie Crumpler.
