Not sure what to say?

What a treasure Mary Ann was to all who were fortunate to cross paths with her. I was a new teacher on the staff of Holy Ghost back in the late 70's - what a joyful part of our day when she sailed into the classroom ready to serenade the students with "You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby" or "Toot, Toot, Tootsie, Goodbye." Her humor, laughter, bright smile and twinkling eyes lit up any room she entered. God bless you, Mary Ann. You will live forever in the wonderful memories you created for...

I first met Mary Ann in the church choir when I was in high school. She always had nice things to say about me when I played my clarinet. I will always remember her for the rest of my life and my family sends our sympathy to the family during this difficult time.

Aunt Mary was one very special lady. After losing her husband at an early age, she went back to work as a teacher, supporting the apple of her eye, her son Richard. She was always fun to be around, a very Christian woman, smart, funny, and loving, with a heart of gold. My daughters and I were fortunate to live next door to her for a number of years. We miss her, but hope to see her again some day.

Mrs. Squyres class was one we always looked forward to. I don't think we'll ever forget "You must have been a beautiful baby" or the ever popular "Toot Toot Tootsie". It's a wonder any of us learned Spanish because we were always clamoring for a song.

I absolutely loved Mrs Sqyres. She taught me all the old songs that I still love and treasure: Don't fence me In, the Marines hymn From the Halls of Montezuma, Over Here... Over there, ALLA EN EL RANCHO GRANDE, and many many many more fun songs. She was great and she was loved by all !!!

I will never forget Mrs. Squyres and the difference she made in my life while I was attending Holy Ghost. I will always treasure my fond memories of her beautiful voice and wonderful spirit. She was a bright light shining on the path of my life. It was truly an honor and blessing to have known her.

Aunt Mary was a wonderul, shining person in my life. I miss her and her smile so very much. Some of my fondest memories of my childhood are my interactions with Aunt Mary at holiday gatherings and visiting her next door when I was young. Richard, our thoughts and prayers are with you right now. To all family reading this, we love you and miss you and wish we could be near you during this hard time.

Mrs. Squyres made a difference in my life as a child at Holy Ghost. I will never forget her and her beautiful voice. My prayers go out to all the family and friends of Mrs. Squyres.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all family and friends of Mrs Squyres. She surely had a wonderful effect on many children at Holy Ghost. She was a bright light that never failed to shine.
