I believe Sr. Mary Louise St. John tutored me in math the summer of 1969 following my completing 8th grade at St. Mary's Academy, Glens Falls, NY. I had failed math in both 7th and 8th grades. Using workbooks, she methodically worked me back to where I thoroughly knew my math. I believe we were in a 4th grade workbook. From there we worked forward through 8th grade math and beyond. Mary Louise was the most extraordinarily free woman I ever met. I trust that, from her place of heavenly dance, she will continue to help all of us to grow into the freedom she experienced and taught throughout her life.
