Mary Agnes "Sis" Sterkel

To the Sterkel family,
I just recieved word today that Mary passed away. I wanted to extend my sympathy for your loss. I worked at Notre Dame College as the Alumnae Director from 1997-2003. Your mother always had a kind word for me, would always take the time to talk and seemed genuinely interested in what was going on in my life.
She was a really nice lady - a true "daughter of Notre Dame" and I am sure that the Blessed Mother was there to greet her at the gates of Heaven with...

We are broken-hearted for you. Your beautiful Sis was an amazing woman. Lou had recently reported what a wonderful time he had with you and Sis Tom at the SH&A picnic. Please know that you and your family (kids just returning to school year) are in our thoughts and prayers.
