The Hudson/Sweatt family, and my family are close. My Father, Robert Runnels, worked with Samuel Hudson Jr. at the Dallas Housing Authority. My mother, Dr. Jane Haynes Runnels, worked with Ella Hudson in the Dallas Independent School District. She also taught at Lincoln High School, when Mary Lois Hudson was a student in the 1950's. My Sister, Cathy and Camelia are close friends. Samuel Hudson, III Esq. was my sponcer when I received two appointments as a legislative messenger at Texas...

Mary Lois was a former board member and long time supporter of Big Thought and just recently made a donation to our organization. She was a lovely lady who made valuable contributions to the arts community. She will be missed. Sincere condolences to the family from the board and staff of Big Thought.
