She encouraged me in many ways along my life's path: to go to college when it seemed an impossibility, to take evening classes in high school to improve my chances of getting a job to support myself in college, inviting me to work with her as a real estate broker in her business in King City, to learn to sew my own clothes in high school and so on. My husband, Don and I met Mary through ballroom dancing. We were in the made for TV show Abby vs Ann in March 1999 together as extras in the club dance scene. We danced with Mary many times in the 2000's. She was always gracious and caring.
