Not sure what to say?

Syth Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Mary was a dear friend. I met Mary almost two years ago at the Pitt County Detention Center. She was so sweet. I know that losing her is very hard. My mother was killed in a horrible car accident on August 17, 2008. Just a few days before her. It is very hard to lose someone so close to you. I send my deepest sympathy to you. I can't say that everything will be ok because I to am stuggling to move on. You will think of her everyday. ...

We talked spiritually on several occassions, I my biggest concern was you keeping the faith to overcome the pain. You hurt for many days I know. You kept trying to make it. Your second home became your work and your second family was here at work. I'll never forget our last meeting with your sister and you, your biggest statement was "I'm ready to get back to work". I'll miss you.

Matt, Amber & Derek;
A moment ago I just found out about your sweet mom, Mary. I am so sorry for you all because I know how much she meant to you and you meant to her. She loved you dearly, as only a mom can. I have such good memories when you kids were young and I would talk to Mary when JC had spent time with you. How precious those times were. Your mom always showed such kindness and love to JC and for that I will always be so thankful you all were a part of his short life. I saw...

Derek and Matt, Please accept my sincerest symapthies on the loss of your mother. She was a pleasant lady and having known through teaching both of you and worked with her, I feel a great loss. Take care of yourself. Ms. Smith

I met Mary through Little Red School when Amber and Robert went there. I always thought she was a beautiful woman inside and out. I was so sorry to hear that she had gotten the cancer. I also had Leukemia, but mine was not the same kind and I have been able to be in remission for going on 3 years. I so wish it could have been that way for her. My heartfelt sympathies go out to your whole family. May God be with you all and just know I will keep you all in my prayers.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Mary one time, however, I was amazed at her stamina and positive spirits. As a Cancer survivor, I know her path has not been an easy one. However, now she has become a "pathfinder" or one to lead the rest of us ... one day... to a better place. My heart goes out to the entire family as hopefully we can celebrate the role she played in life rather than the loss we now feel. God bless each of you.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Derek, Miranda, Matt and Amber, your mother was such a special person. We will all miss her. May the happy memories sustain you and make you smile.
We love you all,
Carol, Carlos, Josh and Robin Moore
