TACKER, Mary W. “Roxie” – of Flint, age 83, died Saturday, November 24, 2018 at her residence.



 



Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Brian Oswald officiating.



 



Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.



 



Those desiring may make contributions to Glad Tidings Tabernacle.



 



Visitation 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.



 



Mary was born in Tyronza, Arkansas on July 10, 1935, the daughter of the late Earl and Lula (Gammill) Hall.



 



She enjoyed camping up north, fishing and singing gospel music. She also liked to play euchre and watch MSU basketball. One of Mary’s favorite things to do was watch her great-grandson, Brody play football and basketball. Above all, she loved cooking Sunday dinner for her family and spending time with them.



 



Surviving are children, Roxanne (Al) Steffe, Rhonda (John) Sullivan and Kathie (Jeff) Koons;



 



grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Rachael Harris and Bill (Miranda) Daniels;



 



great-grandchildren, Anthony, Brody, Brennan, Brady, Ian and Cora;



 



sisters, Bonnie Ratliff and Jean Lewis;



 



friend, Max Dorr;



friends and staff at Woodhaven Community.



 



Special thanks to Dr. Edward Christy and Heart-to-Heart Hospice.



 



She was preceded in death by her husband, George; great-grandson, Burke and brother, John Earl Hall.
