Ed and Vada, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I have fond memories of going to her house with April and her picking up April and I from Camp Bethel in a torrential downpour. April and I leaned behind the seat and prayed that God would get us home safely. Literally, the sun was beginning to break through the moment we lifted our heads. April will probably remember this moment too. I will be praying for your family as I have just lost my last grandfather on Oct. 15th and I know...

I was very blessed to have known your mother. She was a caring and always a giving person. She was a dear and good friend to my grandmother Ms. Daisy Marsh and my mother Bea and all her family. My prayers be with you all.Donna J Hall.

Dear Ed, Vada & Family,
I have such wonderful memories of your mother from all of my years at Salem Baptist Church. My grandmother(Mary Riffe)& my parents (Mary & Marvin Perdue) were members there and friends of your mom & dad. I know the loss you are feeling and I know our Lord will comfort everyone of you in this your time of grief. Sincerely, Ruth Perdue Traficanti

I can't express what Mary June has meant in my life. My brother and I came from a small town in West Virginia to live in Salem Virginia. Mary was a second mother for Frank and me. We spent most of our lives after high school with her kids Marsena and Ed. She will be terrible missed my me and my family. May God be with Ed and Marsena and all of the grand children. With all of our love and condolences. Ron and Linda Blevins

God bless you and keep you in your time of great loss, Marsena and Family.

My Prayers are with you all.

Nanny June you and your family has always had a special place in my heart and always will. I still remember the Black eyed peas and corn bread. See you again one day.

Love,
