Rossi Funeral Home - Scotch Plains Obituary

Mary Topolewski, 79, of Westfield died on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Center for Hope Hospice. The Funeral will be from the Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave. Scotch Plains, NJ on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 8:30am. The Funeral Mass will be at 9:30am at St. Bartholomew's the Apostle Church in Scotch Plains. The Interment will follow at St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery and Mausoleum in Berkeley Heights, NJ. The Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, January, 16, 2014 from 6-9pm.

Mary was born in Weehawken, NJ. She lived in Hoboken and Bayonne before settling to Westfield in 2007. Mary was a member at the Westfield YMCA. She loved to travel to Europe. Mary worked for Lever Brothers Research for 10yrs. before retiring in 1969.

Mary is predeceased by her husband Edward. She is survived by her son James D. Topolewski and her daughter Kerri and husband Edward Linder; her two grandchildren Brianna and Joey Linder; her three nieces Maureen Sullivan, Lisa Hollingsworth, and Dana Gore; her three nephews Kevin, Michael, and Lawrence Sullivan; and her dear friend Lillian Hora.
