I learned today, May 8th, that my former St. Casimir classmate passed away and I feel sad for her loss. Several memories standout including when Sister Honesta tripped over Mary’s foot sending Sister to the ground. Years later I ran into Mary at the Lansing Airport. I knew Mary briefly through her working at Mt.Hope Methodist church.
Our co-op was there and Mary would buzz me in to pick up my order.
Mary was always warm and welcoming. Found out during this connection, that she was married to Bryan Torok. Bryan and I had gone to jr high together , and through Mary was able to see an old friend after many years.
Mary and I list touch after the co-op ended, but I have never forgot what a lovely woman she was and I am thankful we crossed...
