Not sure what to say?

DOCCS created a Mary Van De Wal Award, On July 18th 2011 I was so proud that my Parmis Unit won that award, I will always cherish it.

Mary I cannot believe it has been 12 years since we last saw each other. I think of you often and remember the evens spent at your house having dinner or planting flowers. RIP My friend Janet

It' s been a year since I haven't heard your voice or seen your smiling face. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't remember the time we spent together laughing, crying, shopping, eating and having tea. I will forever cheerish these memories and know that you are where you have wanted to be for a long time. Though my sorrow is great, it gives me peace to know that you are happy now. As I think of you it will bring a smile, for the memories are great and there is nothing that compares...

Mary,
I don't even know where to start you mean so much to me you and I had so many good times long talks, long nights, great laughs you brought light in my life when I was down and I would also lift you when you where down i know that. Mary you were like my grandma and I love you soo much and i miss you truly, honestly im lost without you but we will meet again someday and i will give you a big hug and i can see your beautiful smile that i looked forward...

To the Family:

May God bless you at this time of sorrow. Mary will truly be missed.

A NYS Division of Parole Employee

Mary, I've been missing you the past few yrs. since I retired from work, and I know you missed me, because you always told me I knew how to put the work in the correct order and bring it down to you. Your in a better place now and don't have to worry about others and I know your showing your beautiful smile and how tough you can be in heaven. Lots of love to your family, I'm sure they will miss you dearly.

To Mary's Family:
Knowing Mary taught me some important life lessons. We laughed AND cried together. And of course we SHOPPED!!

I will miss you emencely Mary,I will miss you calling my name and our twice a week get togethers. Going shopping and having dinner or just sitting on the porch having tea after we planted flowers.
I love you.

Mary was the sweetest person. I am going to miss seeing her at work. She was always smiling. She amazed me! She may have been a tiny person, but her loss is going to leave a huge void in our lives.

With deepest sympathy for your loss,
