To the Vandersteen family,
We will miss Mary (aka Mrs. Vandersteen), she was such a positive influence on our lives. Being one of our neighborhood moms, we will cherish the memories of growing up and learning life and piano from her! We know she is in heaven now with Don (her cherished husband) and JoAnn DuBois (our mom, who loved the piano too) and so many beautiful mom's who've gone before her. Rest in peace Mary ... we'll miss you ...Love, Amy DuBois

I met Mary this past year when I brought my granddaughter to her piano lesson. She was a loving patient teacher and just a wonderful woman. My sympathy to the family.

Mary was a wonderful woman who, with Don, raised a great family. Ive been blessed to know the family for so many years and I offer my sympathy and prayers. Mary was a very faithfilled woman who loved her Catholic faith. May she Rest In Peace.
Unfortunately I will be out of town at the time of the funeral but I will be with you in spirit.
God bless you all.

My thoughts are with you all. I had the pleasure of having Mary as my piano teacher. She was always so sweet and supportive -- even when I didn't practice the way I should have. She touched many lives and gave all of her students wonderful memories. Unfortunately I will be out of town at the time of your Mom's services otherwise I would have been there.
