Mary Jeanette Walsh

Mary and her family lived around the corner from us and was a good neighbor. My father and her husband Ed rode bikes to Holy Rosary for the 8 o'clock Mass. I had tea with her at her house a couple of years ago and loved hearing her wit hand wisdom.

To Rosemary, Kathleen, Tom, Patrick and Molly: I have fond memories of Thanksgiving at your childhood home and am sorry for the loss of your mother, who was larger than life and a true matriarch of a magnificent family. Thanks for the good memories, and my prayers are with you all as you say goodbye to your mom. Blessings to you all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you on this passing of your mother, grandmother, and friend. Mary has touched the lives of the Sisters at Our Lady of Peace Retreat for many years. We have been honored to know her and all of you. May she rest in the loving arms of God.

I think this was my first grade teacher at Thompson elementary school. I was in this class when JFK was shot. She was a very kind lady. She made a lasting impression on me.

It was always a great pleasure to chat with Grandma Walsh at the occasions where we met. Her goodness and holiness shone through her always! God rest her soul. She is now a member of the Church Triumphant! May all of you take comfort that she is in Heaven and will be an intercessor for your prayers.

Epiphany will never be the same ... What a GREAT lady she was.
