I did not know Mary and Hayden personally, however, I feel I knew them through Ryan. Over the years, Ryan proudly spoke of his beautiful wife and children. Not a meeting went by without Ryan displaying pictures of his family. Our hearts ache, for your loss, as we keep your families in our thought and prayers. May God always hold precious Maddie in his loving arms.

My Family has never had the pleasure of meeting all of you, however in the past few days we have heard and learned so much about all of you that we feel like we have known you forever. We know that you three are in a safe and happy place looking down on your daughter/sister and the rest of your family. You all have touched so many lives with the kindness of your hearts, and because of that your legacy will live on.
Heaven has three new angels, may you all rest in peace.

We have never met, but my heart and prayers go out to you and your entire family. Now another one, Ryan, is taken to heaven to join Mary and Hayden. May you find comfort in the days ahead. We too, have suffered a loss to that terrible storm. My niece Bailey was a gift to us that was taken too soon. May we all find peace in the plan that our Saviour Lord Jesus has. Another grieving family.

My daughter, Ari, and I had the pleasure of knowing Miss Mary and Hayden at the Discovery Center. We both feel so terrible about this tragedy. I'm overwhelmingly sorry about your loss.

Our family will miss you dearly Miss Mary & Hayden. I will never forget how little Hayden would always excitedly announce to my kids that their mom was here to pick them up. He was always the first to say good-bye to both of them also. Miss Mary, your kind nature always set me at ease - with you there to greet me at the front desk, I just knew that my husband and I placed our kids in the right place. You just knew that everyone mattered and showed each and every one of us how special we are...

Dear Matti,
Your Mom would not remember my "real" name only that I was Elle (Malczewski's) Mimi. But I will always remember last I saw Mary and Hayden together. Quite by chance Elle spent the night with me and in the morning we were later than usual getting to CDC. And who else was just getting there, your Mom and Hayden. Before I could stop the car and get to Elle's door, she was out of the car telling them both that she spent the night at my house. Your Mom raised her arms and in...

Mary,
Words cannot express how I feel today. You will always be remembered as "Mar Mar" that is what Kyle called you when you were his toddler teacher. Even today that is what his memory is. My memory is always of you smiling no matter what. Heaven just got brighter with you and Hayden. May God be with you and your family. May God also be with the Children Discovery staff and families whose lives were so positively impacted by Mary Walters.
