Read MoreI always loved seeing Mary! She was so inviting and kind to play golf with me when I first started. I also learned of her swimming and love the photo you have of her! I swim at Old Town and think of her many swims as inspiration. I loved seeing her at St Paul's for many years also. Rest in peace, Mary. I hope you and Dr Weaver have a joyous reunion.

I truly enjoyed visiting with Mrs. Weaver each time I saw her in Arborview. My mother resided there as well and Mrs. Weaver was a lovely lady. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Our friends Mary and Dick Weaver were special neighbors and a happy, memorable part of our lives: dinners and private bridge games at OTC, get-togethers at each other's homes, tours in each other's gardens, and plant swaps. We enjoyed their flower entries in the annual Dixie Classic Fall Fair. An unforgettable sight was the long spiraling border of vividly blue "forget me nots" that Mary created along the edge of one of their garden beds.
