Not sure what to say?

Mary, We know you are doing just fine wherever you are. I can still hear that message on your cell. "Hi, this is Mary. Leave your message at the beep and I'll get back to you. Have a great day." Or something to that effect. Your voice was so joyful. How can that ever go away. It won't. I wish you could have seen the new fiestaware color they named after you. Marigold. You are in our hearts, so very close and dear. Your sister, Gail

I worked with Mary, for a few months, at Mervyn's early in my retail career. She was always sincerely cheerful and happy-loved that! 25 years later I saw her on KATU-and immediately recognized that face and smile. RIP Mary.

mary will be always loved and remembered.

My mother was a wonderfull woman who was full of life and love. I will miss her dearly. I love you Mom!!!!

I worked with mary at mervyns clackamas. I never met such a happy person with a light up your day smile. There wasnt a challenge (department lead shoes, intimate, jewelry, mens) that she didnt take on without joy. I am quite sure there are no mis mates in the shoe department in heaven and every table is folded to perfection. I want you to know that mary has been in my prayers throghout her illness and you the family as well. The clackamas mervyns was a group of people that worked many...

I remember Mary as being a great help when I first started at Mervyns at Eastport Plaza. She was always smiling and helpful. Imagine our surprise when we found out we were second cousins(?). Her Grandpa Schambron and my grandmother were siblings. My grandma Hartley and Aunt Elsie were chatting one day and discovered that they both had granddaughters working at Mervyns. Working with Mary was fun because she was always so positive. You will be missed, Mary.

My condolence to the family, what a wonderful lady. I was sorry to hear that she left this world so soon. I remember Mary Lou from years back now when we lived on Mt. Tabor and as kids rode bikes and played with her dog Niki.

At the beach with our dogs, May 2009.

Mary faced some tough challenges in her life, but you wouldn't know it by the joyous way she embraced life. It was my pleasure and honor to be her friend. I miss her. Rest in peace, Mary.

Some spirits shine so brightly that they become a beacon of hope for the rest. That's how I thought of Mary in the incredibly brief time I knew her. She made it so easy to love and be loved in return. She will be missed but thought of fondly forever. May God bless all those she left behind and RIP Mary!
