Not sure what to say?

I have known Mary Ann for 45 years now –she was truly a remarkable person. I will miss her deeply. She had such insight and empathy. She was such a comfort to me in my recent losses of my mother and son. We were so lucky to have had such a lovely time with her & Mike recently on their trip to Georgia wherein we took a road trip to Savannah (one of her favorite cities – and mine) and to Amelia Island, Florida. So fortunate are we to have these memories. And the summers at the lake where...

For Aunt Mary Ann

I can't imagine what you must be going through, but i have taken a lot of comfort in the messages from uncle mike and am truly amazed at how aunt mary ann battled her disease with such incredibly immense courage, dignity and grace. what i can't seem to stop thinking about and...

Dear Mike, Mary Ann and kids,

It's with a great deal of saddness when I reflect on Mary Ann's passing. I cannot forget the first time I met you, 50 years ago, at the fall Sadie Hawkins dance in Winona when Mike and I were scoping out all the St. Theresa lovelies. You were always a favorite for me, our mutual Bohunk heritage allowed for great conversation. I'm sorry our families did not get to know one-another better but with your four and my four, time passed quickly. Rest well, I...

I feel so bad, Mary Ann was my sister Jeanne's sister in law, and I'll always remember her laughter ! and such a sweet smile. So sorry Mike and children, my prayers are with you.

For my Aunt Mary Ann.
What comes to mind? For me, a wonderfully impressive and positive woman. She had a certain inner-wisdom about her that was instantly endearing and welcoming to anyone she met. She was always fun and interesting to talk to - well-versed on a variety of subjects and always got you to think of the big picture and the beauty in nature and the world. Although her family and friends will truely miss her, Aunt Mary Ann's awesome spirit and smiling demeanor will live on!...
