Mary W. Wickware

I wished that I had paid more attention in her classroom, I believe I would have benefited well beyond what I achieved . She was a caring woman, May God bless her.

Mary Wickware was a woman of uncommon distinction and eloquence. I am greatly saddened to learn of her passing. She was introduced to me by our mutual devoted friend, retired teacher Jo Morgan, and Miss Mary Wickware will always be held in highest esteem by me. A woman of hard work and the highest intelligence, personal grace, and the utmost dignity, she will forever be the standard-bearer for which young women of today, regardless of the color of their skin, should be striving. Ms.Mary was my teacher in 1970 at DuPont High. I can say she was a spitfire with us and she needed to be.I hope she had a wonderful life after she retired she earned it. Prayers and love sent to the family

My heartfelt condolences to the Wickware family. I did not know Mary or her family personally but I do have the family in my family history and family tree database. I know her family was very proud of her and all she accomplished. I am the coordinator for the Wickware and Wickwire family history group and we all want the family to know we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers in this sad time.
