Not sure what to say?

Mary, I think of you so very often. We became friends at Church when Mary approached me and let me know, she too, had lived in Pascagoula, Mississippi. That made us immediate friends forever. I still miss you, dear friend.

Mere and I first met when we worked at St. Luke's and had years of adventures. Our lives diverged in the late 80's. Yesterday I decided to look her up (I found a copy of Polly's birthday cake). I google her name and her obituary came up. What a loss of a woman. She needle pointed, hung wall paper, was a fantastic cook and had that great nose-crinkling laugh! Of course she was a master gardener! You could take the girl out of Mississippi but not Pasgoula out of the girl. She was a gift.

We are so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She was a truely loving and wonderful woman. Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Lane, Shari and I are so sorry for your lose. Mary, you will always be in my heart, my lovely Mississippi friend!

Mary was the glue that held together so many social groups. She was always gentle and never pushy -- but things started happening when she got involved. She also had a tremendous talent for listening and for making you feel loved and valued. She will be missed in very many ways by very many people.

Maria, my prayers and thoughts are with you and Mary's family and friends during this very trying time. Many blessings to you always.

We have many fond memories of times with Mary. We met her when she lived at Lake Lotawana and she volunteered for Southeastern Jackson County Community Mental Health Center. She became the first Executive Secretary for the Executive Director of this fledgling agency. When she moved on to another location we still kept in touch. She lived with us for some time while she transitioned back to the Kansas City area. We drove her to her brother's home in Mobile one year during a Christmas vacation....

My family will miss Mary!!! Her friendliness and warm smile always made us feel special. Lane, you are in our thoughts!! We've decided to shed no tears for Mary but to smile when we think of her and know we have an extra special angel in our corner watching over us now. We will miss you Mary!!
