Mary (Louise) Wilson, age 73, of Amity, died Wednesday, January 18, 2006.

She was born on November 6, 1932, at Amity, the daughter of Jettie Davis and Lucille Garner Davis. On October 14, 1950, she was married to Elmer Lee Wilson, who preceded her in death on April 25, 1984. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Wilson.

She was a homemaker, a seamstress, and Assembly of God in her faith. Mary (Louise) was a special grandmother, mom, and aunt to many children.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Laquitta and Bobby Woodall of Amity; two grandchildren, Devin Woodall and Felicia Woodall, both of Amity; one great-grandson, Hunter Wilson Woodall of Amity; one brother, John Davis of Amity; and sister, Mildred Welch of Hot Springs.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 22, 2006, in the Amity First Assembly of God Church with Bro. John McAnally and Bro. David Walker officiating.

Interment will be in the Jones Cemetery, under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Visitation will be Saturday, 6 PM to 8 PM.

I know that I've already told you, but once again, I'm so sorry you're having to go through the pain of such a great loss. You're mother was a wonderful lady. Everyone that knew her, loved her. So sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. Words are not enough at this time, and only time will help to deal with the pain of losing a parent. We know that they are in a place that God will take care of them, but we still will miss their earthly presence.
