I had the pleasure & honor of knowing Mary as a fellow member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Pompano Beach, FL. We hit it off right away once we each realized we were from Boston, (me from Cambridge & her from Dedham) as well as being Registered Nurses. Mary was a caring, thoughtful & giving individual that exhumed concern for those around her. She volunteered for just about everything going on in the Legion Post & enjoyed making things happen.
