I was a wide-eyed college pre-medical student a biology major, and I worked my entire four years of college under Mary Alice at the Columbia University biology department. I had the honor and privilege of working with Maryalice at Wagner College in the late `90´s. I was the new Provost and she was the admin asst. We accomplished a remarkable number of academic and curricular reforms at the College. Without Maryalice I am not sure if we would have been so successful. Her intelligence, resiliency and wicked humor all made the difference in bringing so much good change to Wagner. I loved working with her. She leaves an indelible mark on my heart. Rest easy,...
