Not sure what to say?

Maryann and I were the best friends in Our Lady of Angels gramma school in when we went to Bishop Kearney HS... I remember she took piano lessons n taught me to play chop sticks.. Her mom worked at the phone company n her dad was the nicest guy ... glad to hear that her sister Margaret got married .. her sister Katherine was awesome. I remember her mom had made a rubob pie n we got in trouble when we ate it .. she lived in an apartment bldg on Ridgr Blvd on the 6 th floor.. I have our year...

Though it is hard to believe that a decade has gone by, I know I speak for others, teachers and administrators in Millburn, who recall the days of working with Maryann with admiration and longing. Maryann had uncommon insight, wit, and people skills, and she used these gifts to make Millburn a better place to teach, learn and lead.

I am so sorry for your loss.

I came to care deeply for Mary Ann as the years ticked by. She was a wonderful teacher' and friend She was an assistant superintendent in Chappaqua. I was an English teacher at Bell School. She spurred me on to think about being the best I could be.
I'll always remember her charm, her wit and her towering intellect.
Fondly,
Phyllis Fuchs

I began my teaching career with Maryann as my superintendent of schools. She hired me, she trusted me, she encouraged me, and she inspired me in ways no other administrator has. 30 years later, I still think of her skill, her philosophy, her kind words of support, and her genuine passion for doing right by children. We should all be...

Ed, Condolences on the loss of Maryann to you and the boys. Thinking of you all at this time.

I had the good fortune of working with Maryann at the Millburn Public Schools. She showed such respect for our work and guided us in a way that no administrator has before or since. She left a wonderful legacy and what I learned from her is still in daily practice. I am so sorry to learn of her passing. Amy Ipp

I am so sorry for your loss and hope that you will have comfort from God as you remember your loved one.

I had the pleasure of working with Maryann at Bell School as a teacher aide. She was a great person. So sorry for your loss.

I will always remember my dear Clio sister Maryann
for her kindness and what a lovely and sweet young lady she was when we were together at New Paltz. Though I had not seen her recently, my heart will always hold her memory inside. My deepest condolences to her husband Ed and her sons.
Love in Clio,
