Maryann H. Hetten, 82, formerly of Coplay, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, in her son, Scott’s home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph Hetten, who passed on April 3, 2009. Born January 25, 1939, in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Paukovits) Soldritsch. Maryann worked at Tarkett as a flooring inspector for many years. She was a faithful member of Queenship of Mary Church. Maryann volunteered at Good Shepherd Catholic School and was a member of their PSA.


Survivors: daughter, Kim Dreisbach and husband, David; sons, Michael Kumernitsky and wife, Kathy, Scott Kumernitsky and wife, Melissa, Joseph Hetten and wife, Suzanne, and Christopher Hetten; grandchildren, Amber Weghofer and husband, Frank, Andrew Dreisbach and wife, Kelsey, Ashley Puchyr and husband, Michael, Katlyn, Keri-Ann, Kelli-Ann, Matthew and Austin; great-grandchildren, Kennley and Cash; and several nieces and nephews. Maryann was predeceased by her sisters, Anna Mae Snyder and Loretta Solderich.


Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 9th at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may gather from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass in the church. Inurnment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to Good Shepherd Catholic School or Lehigh Valley Hospice in loving memory of Maryann. Online condolences may be offered below.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Your mom was a very special person. A Godmother to my daughter and I to Kim n Scott. Was their matron of honor at their wedding and friends for over 65 years. I will treasure all these memories we made. Love you my dear friend. R.I.P.

My Maryann - you took me in as your 6th child when I was only about 10years old. When my birth Mother was unable to be a Mom, you showed me what unconditional motherly love was. You were there for our wedding & for the birth of our 3 children, along with many other milestones. You told me I'd be somebody some day and I was. Thank you! "Your Jessie" will always be grateful for the childhood memories and love you showed me. Now you are home with your mom, sisters and husband and those left...

What can i say dont know where to start ,MY AUNT MARYANN gosh this is hard for me so many years running in and out of the house on Newport ave. MEMORIES - Than coplay.Are families were close .when little goin to amusement parks when my dad was still here.
