Not sure what to say?

Mel's passing is too close to the heart, my dear friend Anne's sister, her family; my family. It seems as though something inside me says this cannot be true but it is. We will miss her and I am thankful to have shared her life and to have been a part of her memories. She had a laugh and smile that left a lasting impression. She was not concerned about material things. We can all learn from that. She cherished her family and memories and loved to have a good time. My thoughts and prayers...

Mel was certainly a bright light in the Julian family and was a source of great happiness and pride to her grandmother, Nana Parente. I recall many a time when visiting (and eating!) at Auntie Lana's that a card or a note that Mel had sent would come out and she would read it with a tear in her eye because she missed her grandchildren so. Mel was one of the most thoughtful people I will ever know. We are all better people for having her in our lives. I take comfort in knowing you are...

We are keeping you in our prayers and thoughts. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know. We love you,

We were all in deep shock to here of the loss of Mel. We will all miss her. God Bless. And We Love you JR.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

I was so shocked with the news of Maryellens passing. I feel so gratefull that we all were able to get together in RI two years ago. Mel and Ray were one of the first to arrive and we had some great time together to catch up on. She was so very happy to be able to see everyone as we all were. It had been way to long. I will always remember that special time. My heart goes out to the whole family. Love cousin Jay

I really loved the fact that i was able to connect with Maryellen at the reunion. Having time to chat with her early Friday afternooon in Jays porch was so great. Now cousin, you are having homade pizza with nona, having a chat with my dad while auntie connie does your make up and your grandmother sits close by. Life is but a short trip...we will all see you soon. Much love and light, Cousin Tara

Mel was an inspiration to me in the way she loved unconditionally. I will miss her everyday but I hold on to the thought of seeing her again and in remembering all the times we shared together growing up and growing wiser. Thanks to all of you for your love and support.

We were honored to have had Mel in our family and glad we were able to share in the beautiful memorial to her at the beach in Vero. Mel was a special person who will be dearly missed. We love you Mel
