Not sure what to say?

I knew Maryellen for about three years and in that time I have come to know her daughter Devon as well......

Never got a chance to meet Maryellen in person....but I did get a chance to share some of my world with her.....and I am very thankful for that....Heaven has added an Angel......

She will never be forgotten.....and is missed and loved more than words can describe.......Dev and Mallory may you both find strength in your Mothers memory.......she lives in you both and all of...

Dear Devon, Mallory and all who remember Mare,

That is how I knew her.

My name is Sue (Erickson) Johnson and your mom and I “came of age” together growing up in Middlesex, NJ.

I am so saddened by the news of your loss. The adventures your mom and I shared remain with me to this day. I attended my first over-night at her house. Eight of us crammed into her upstairs bedroom along with JC her little spastic dog. We were co-editors of the yearbook, and not a single day...

I read this everyday, every entry, everyday....... God I miss her.

Dear girls,
I grew up down the street from your Mom in Middlesex. My parents still live on Giles Ave and my Dad read the notice about your Mom in the church bulletin, that's how I found out that she died. I had no idea she had suffered with cancer until I read this obituary.

I'm not surprised to read all the nice things people wrote about her. I remember how she could liven up things and she was funny and outspoken, even back in high school.

Ever since your Mom and her...

I always said if I ever had to be a patient and could not help myself Maryellen would have been the first person to care for me; I worked with her several times and she always positioned her residents for their maximum comfort; she gave her all and cannot be replaced! She will be missed, God bless Devon and Mallory, just remember she will be with you when you least expect her, to comfort and support you .
Sincerely,
...

Devon, Mallory, and Family,

I'm so sorry about your mom, but I know she is in a good place now and she watches over all of us everyday. Try to stay strong and remember all the good things about her, smile for her. :)

Take care, love yas always

Although it's been years since I've spoken with or seen MaryEllen, my fondest memories of her will be the friendship she shared with me and others all around her. I've never known her to be nothing more than a supportive mother of her two beautiful daughters Devon and Mallory. MaryEllen was a hard worker and was always there in a pinch. She babysat my two daughters when I had no one and I will be forever grateful for her time and for the relationships she shared with my girlss. She was a...

I thank everyone for writing in here, the good memories and kind words are what is keeping me celebrating her life and trying not to mourn her death although it is hard. She made me who I am. If not for her, there would be no hero in me. I miss you mom <3

Mary Ellen was a hard worker. Many times we would have her take the new NA1's to train them. Her residents loved her. She always have a great sense of humor. As her supervisor we new her floor would run smooth when she was working. God Bless her family.
