I was one of the secretaries at Columbia Pacific Council, BSA for many years. Mike was a great friend and co-worker. I have many great memories of him.

In honor of Mike: A man for whom nothing was too time consuming or too menial too tedious or demanding. He always tackled the Office Management work with a quiet diligence and smile.

I think of Mike all the time. He hired me as a field service secretary at the Columbia Pacific Council in 1973 ... and I've been here ever since. Everyone loved Mike and enjoyed working for him. He created a real sense of team work and camaraderie. In Scouting people talk about following the Scout Oath and Law. Mike didn't talk about it, he lived it. He was fair, kind, fun and a true gentleman. A role model in every sense of the word. He will truly be missed.
