Not sure what to say?

Much love and prayers to all who had the luck to know Mason and especially to his family. I worked with Mason at Katmai during the summer of 2009 and really enjoyed having him as a friend. He was always, always smiling and laughing. At Brooks Camp, I liked to run everywhere and he would tease me endlessly about it. I remember that on some days he had the horrible job of having to work on some pipes deep in the ground and would have to wear full coveralls. He would pop his head out of the...

Although we have never met, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It seems that Mason epitomized all that was good and real in life. The gleam in his eyes appears to have radiated from within while simultaneously reflecting the beauty of nature he so enjoyed. His apparent zest for life transcends it, as he has the the ability to touch a stranger, as well as family and friends. I wish you peace.

I'm sorry that I was out of town at the time of Mason's memorial. He was an exceptional young man, taken from us all too soon while doing what he loved. No doubt his spirit will live on in those of us who remember.

Sue, you have been in my thoughts since I first heard the news of the missing plane. Nanci has kept me posted along the way and has hopefully conveyed my messages to you. I am truly sorry for your loss. I wish you strength in the coming year.

Sorry for your loss. I never met Mason but it sounds like he was one very special individual. The kind of person everyone should strive to be. God rest his soul. Adam Hartmann (Jacksonville, FL)

Sue and Steve,

You may not remember me as it has been many years since seeing you at the races in Daytona with my dad. I never met your son Mason but I know that he was an exceptional person by his many accomplishments and the wonderful things written about him. You are a great family and we are thinking of you and praying for you. (Tell Scott I said "hi").

Mike Butler and family

Sue and Steve, the extended Rupert, Wooten, Blazovic, and Nemuras families are heartbroken for you but hope that Mason and the others who passed with him are in a better place. Mason will live on in your hearts and those of many others. Mason was and is a wonderful, sweet, funny, and super intelligent soul.

Sue and Steve,

Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your families. We know that you are a strong woman Sue and that you will bask on the good times that you had with Mason.

God be with you and Steve

Sue and Steve, I cannot even imagine what you are going through right now but I do know that the spiritual energy of Mason will feed through you both now and I am certain you will direct that energy into some mission that Mason would see fit for all of us to support. I look forward to hearing what that might be. I am sure Mason was amazing because he has two amazing parents.

Peace and Love to you,

I don't know you or your son Mason, but I read about his life and untimely death. My heart goes out to you and I am keeping you in my prayers.
