Mason Powers
Hillsboro
Funeral for Mason Powers, 64, of Hillsboro will be Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Reverend Wilburn Clark officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Powers, who died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Huntsville Hospital, was born April 4, 1947, in Decatur to Calvin and Annie Powers. He had worked for Solley Crane Company for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Coretha Powers; three sons, Perry Powers, Tojo Powers and Dean Powers; one daughter, Loretta Cottingham; four brothers, Larry Powers, Jeff Powers, Jimmy Powers and Hobo Powers; one sister, Charlie Powers; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
