Massimo "Mike" was a long time friend with all of us in our families on Felix avenue in Richmond CA. One of the most beautiful people I´ve had the pleasure of knowing. I owned Oscar Lugo Fine Jewelry in Point Richmond, and he shopped for Terry and other loved one´s with me. We became good friends and had many lunches at The Mac -Salutes, and The Dead Fish . I was honored to be invited to play golf and lunch, Silverado CC a couple of times a year. Great Person, I will surely miss him and the times we shared. Proud to say he was a good friend.

I met Mike and Terry in Sacramento at an art show 30 years ago. His bird carver friend approached me to trade a carving for my painting. I was honored. Moments later Mike came up to me and told me he loved how I treated his friend and bought several of my paintings. I was so excited and so began a cherished friendship. My family the Della Zoppa clan is from Cercino, My sister was born there and my parents were married there. My mom and dad would visit the DeSimoni family in El Cerrito. My sister has CERCINO LIC on her car. Mike was surprised it was taken and figured it was my sister. Our family is sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He enjoyed a wonderful life.
